Pottery Barn Inspired Wintery Wreath | Sadie Priss
I have a ton of decorations left over from previous years that I don’t want to throw away but I’m not sure what to do with. This is a great way to use them up and pretty to boot. In fact I think I have enough decorations to make about three of them!
DIY Terrarium | Intimate Weddings
What takes a terrarium from something pretty to something adorable? A tiny little man! This reminds me of the gorgeous art of Erin Tyner. If you’re wondering where you can get your hands on a tiny person for your own terrarium, well the answer is: a toy train store! I did a quick check on ebay and you can even get little people sitting on seats - that would be awesome! This DIY is from Intimate Weddings - they suggest making them for centrepieces - perfect!
Neon Edge Pinboard | Fellow Fellow
I have a lot of pictures for my ‘home inspiration’… but they’re all in a folder, which means I find it hard to get inspiration from them! I think I need a pin board like this. Plus on the same site I found this project for glittery pins which I think I need to make too!
Doesn’t this picture make you want to run to the hardware store and buy a rainbow o spray paint? Me too!
Frame Collage Headboard | Shrimp Salad Circus
Usually when people tell you how to do a wall mural, it involves a ton of measuring, cutting out pieces of paper the same size as your picture frames, sticking and unsticking, swearing and pencil marks all over the wall. This one is different! Shrimp Salad Circus instead uses the bed as a ‘layout’. This makes total sense- the bed is going to be as wide as the headboard will need to be. If you have a mish mash of frames, the best thing to do is take them and spray paint them all the same colour - it doesn’t matter if they are different styles. Buy some art from etsy, use pictures from magazines and of course, print out all those pictures from your camera!
Airplant Chandelier | Modish Blog
I find airplants fascinating. As someone who is able to kill a plant just by looking at it, I find these amazing. And even more gorgeous en masse in a chandelier style. If you check out design magazines, you will probably notice a few air plants - they’re quite trendy at the moment, and in this style it would look amazing in a mod setting.
